What do these MTB elbow pads for ENDURO, DH and FREERIDE use have in common?

First of all, they are COMFORTABLE thanks to the type of construction WITHOUT Velcro straps and silicone bands and the three-dimensional protective insert that softens with body heat and adapts perfectly to the elbow.

NBP MTB elbow pads are SO COMFORTABLE that you will leave the house wearing them and will no longer need to carry them around in a backpack or hip pack.

This comfort also translates into SAFETY because you will wear them for the ENTIRE outing, accidents can happen even on trivial stretches.

I think it has also happened to you out of laziness that you didn’t put your elbow pads on sections of the route that deserved it, just because they were at the bottom of your rucksack.

You no longer even have the excuse that the heat makes you sweat too much….the NBP elbow pads you will wear in EVERY CLIMATE and SEASON because they are made of POLYAMIDE mesh that allows air and sweat to pass through; even the APPROVED protective insert has ventilation holes and a three-dimensional structure that allows air and water to circulate.

The POLYAMIDE mesh is tough and thin like a second skin and is also ELASTIC to better adapt to the shape of the elbow/forearm while keeping the entire elbow pad in light compression.

To make it even more comfortable, we have also worked on small details such as the type of stitching in contact with the skin, choosing to make it with a ROVESCIO stitching so that there is no thickness, a bit like you find on some cycling underpants.

An elbow pad that slips down after a few minutes is unbearable, so we worked hard to avoid this problem, which we solved with the use of a non-slip fabric and an excellent fit.

We have avoided the use of the impractical ELASTIC TAPES with VELCRO because it is difficult to have the same tightening adjustment on every outing, thus running the risk of the elbow pads slipping down.

Another problem with Velcro is that it loses its effectiveness with dirt and time, running the risk of it coming off and hanging down during a descent.

We have also not included zips, which we consider to be a bad solution in terms of both comfort and product durability.

The NBP MTB elbow protector is equipped with a practical pocket that allows you to insert the LEVEL 2 HOMOLOGATED protective insert that you can remove when you decide to wash the elbow protector, thus guaranteeing a longer life; many competitors’ elbow protectors have these inserts that cannot be removed and you cannot even check the state of the protection, for example if the insert is cracked or shows obvious signs of ageing such as cracks or cuts.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE:

look at the picture with the sizes and take a dressmaker’s tape measure or a small tape measure and measure the MAXIMUM CIRCUMFERENCE of the forearm at the point indicated and work out the size of the elbow pad; if you are between two sizes and have a rather stocky build, stay on the larger size.

Our size chart is really well made and if you take your measurements correctly, you will have NO problems with the fit!
