TOP TUBE BAG or MTB BAG for TENT POLE and TENT PEGS to be fixed on the FRAME
We have created for the most demanding travellers a top tube bag DEDICATED to the insertion of the TENT POLE and TENT PEGS.
The measurements have been designed to avoid interference with the water bottle holder and shock absorbers of MTB frames, so the case can easily be fitted inside the frame or on the top tube.
The case remains very compact and discreet and you won’t find anything lighter, only 30 g compared to 200/300 g for competitors.
NBP has chosen a stretch fabric identical to that of the 16-litre frame bag, with the only difference being that the seams are not heat-taped, as the pegs and poles do not need to be waterproofed to hold them.
Installation on the frame is made easy thanks to the elastic fabric and the two Velcro straps.
Zips are a weak point of a bag and we avoid them if we can; that is why we preferred a Velcro system.
In the future we plan to have more sizes for the top tube bags; if you have special requirements, please let us know.
If you want to travel by MTB, without losing the pleasure of riding, we recommend that you only buy COMPACT camping tents with short poles (< 32 cm). This allows you to place the pole inside the frame and not on the handlebars, where it is uncomfortable due to interference with the brake and gear cables and can cause unpleasant oscillations.
In addition, the handlebar bag hides your view of the front wheel.
